Led by guitarist/vocalist Roy "Kay" Konitzer, The Roy Kay Trio play purist rockabilly that owes a strong debt to such legends of the genre as Johnny Burnette, Charlie Feathers and Carl Perkins. Eschewing drums, the trio gains a quieter, but no less energetic rhythmic base in the interplay between lead guitarist Mike Geglia and upright bassist Robin Cady. Based in Seattle, the group released its first fulllength CD Wanderin' Mind produced by Deke Dickerson in 2002 on Lur Liner Records....
