Synopsis: Roy Rogers - Bells of San Angelo (2001)

In this classic Roy Rogers Western, the King of Cowboys teams up with Dale Evans for some dazzling heroics and engaging singing numbers. The two gun-toting, boot-wearing do-gooders come together to squelch the illegal efforts of a band of silver mine smugglers in Mexico. As always, Rogers' trusty horse Trigger is there to support him.

    I Love The West

    Pros: songs by the Sons!!!

    Cons: the fact that Cookie tries singing???...none really.

    This movie is my favorite Roy Rogers movie so far, due in no small part to the Sons of the Pioneers' presence. The songs on this are great!!! The first one is "Hot Lead" sung by my favorite Pioneer line-up (Bob Nolan, Tim Spencer, Lloyd... Perryman, Pat Brady, Hugh & Karl Farr.) The second song is "A Cowboy's Dream of Heaven" sung by Roy Rogers and the Sons. The third song features Dale Evans and is called "I Love the West". You'll love this one even if you didn't like the others. Dale has such an attitude; she's hillarious! The fourth song, "I Love to Wake Up Early In the Morning" is sung by Roy and Dale, and Cookie adds a pretty funny verse to it also.None of these songs are available on CD that I know of, unfortunately. So you'll just have to get the DVD so you can play the songs whenever you want to hear them, 'cause trust me, you will. Read more Less
