Ron Griffiths was the original bassist for Badfinger, although he was gone by the time they started to gain international attention. In the mid-'60s, he joined the Wild Ones, a Swansea band that also included future Badfinger member Pete Ham. The Wild Ones changed their name to the Iveys on Griffiths' suggestion, after a local street.
