    Zeferelli's Romeo & Juliet is my favorite movie of all time (and the only one that has ever made me cry), so it should come as no surprise that I love the soundtrack. The music is wonderfully romantic, culminating, of course, in the enchanting love b...allad "What is a Youth?". Most of the disc is dialouge from the movie, along with the Nino Rota's lovely score. The exchanges between Romeo & Juliet on tracks two and three are particularly poignant & touching. One or both of those tracks would make an incredible addition to a mix disc (or tape) of "Love Songs" to give to the person for whom your heart aches.... Read more Less

    I am giving this cd 5 starts not only because it is beautifully done but because the review above me is totally absurd and unwarranted. If you give something 1 star I feel that you should have something better to say then "It sucks". It is people lik...e this that have nothing better to do with their time then give good music ratings that scare away people who could have possibly enjoyed this beautiful music. Those kind of reviews are unwarranted and should have no place here or anywhere. Thank you. Read more Less
