Rockin' Horse was formed by exMerseybeat Billy Kinsley (bass) and exKirkbys/23rd Turnoff member Jimmy Campbell (guitar, vocals). The two got together in 1971 and the group lasted long enough to record an album for Philips entitled Yes It Is. They split up in 1972, though Kinsley later initially revived the name in putting together a new group in 1975, before switching to the name Liverpool Express.
