The night before the intergalactic amusement park called ~Whoopie World was scheduled to open,
Dr. Gavin decided to place his favorite robot in charge of the control center.
Rocket was pleased at this choice, since he knew the control center inside and out, but the robot secretly desired to check out the park below before the guests started filtering in.
Just as Dr. Gavin was about to leave to get a good night's sleep before his creation was opened to the world, Rocket noticed something very peculiar. One of the mascots, Jojo the raccoon, was staring intently at a blueprint of the park. How did he get a hold of such a document in his cage? What exactly was he planning to do with it?
Rocket tried to warn Dr. Gavin of the possible danger, but he was too late. The good doctor had already left for the night. So Rocket went back to check on Jojo and fellow mascot Whoopie Walrus to make sure that no harm would come to the park. When he finally reached their cages, Rocket was amazed to see that both doors were wide open Before he could speed away to track Dr. Gavin down, Jojo knocked the poor robot senseless.
Rocket woke up a short time later and witnessed the unthinkable: the park was being sabotaged Now Rocket must gather up his courage and fix all of the damage caused by the mischievous mascot before the park opens in the morning. Well, it looks like he's finally going to realize his dream after all -- it's time to explore the park
Rocket: Robot on Wheels is a 3D platform game that has you playing as a one-wheeled robot who uses a tractor beam to grab objects. His goals are to stop evil mascot Jojo from ruining the park, rescue harmless mascot Whoopie Walrus and collect all of the missing tickets the rattled raccoon has stolen.
To do this, Rocket will be able to scoot around as if he were on a unicycle, jump high into the air, use his tractor beam to throw or smash objects, swing from handles and acquire even more moves after receiving upgrades from Tinker the maintenance robot. Yet the first thing Rocket will have to deal with is to find the 12 tickets in each of the seven worlds forming the park.
Rocket begins the game at the Main Entrance, and play involves finding missing tickets (which are identified by letter so you'll be able to tell them apart), locating the 200 ~Tinker Tokens on each level, repairing machines (which open up new areas) and replenishing lost energy by collecting ~Power Cells. Along the way are a variety of vehicles to operate, from a ~GliderBike (futuristic motorcycle) to a ~ShagFlyer (a magic carpet), but they all require a certain number of the ~Tinker Tokens to operate.
Of course, Jojo wasn't content to simply scatter tickets around the park, so each world has a Big Machine that needs to be repaired. To fix the machine, Rocket will need to find seven parts and then place them in the Big Machine Panel.
While players start in ~Whoopie World, the action will take them through the roller-coaster world of ~Clowny Island; a journey through ~Ancient Rome in Paint Misbehavin; exploring the underground caverns of Mine Blowing; riding high in Arabian Flights; solving the changing puzzles of Pyramid Scheme; and fighting it out in the horror-themed Food Fright.
