Rick Springfield is probably best known for a song, Jessie's Girl, and a stint as Dr. Noah Drake (General Hospital). The new EFX star (opening in Vegas, January 30th) does have a deeper, darker side to him as well which is classically show cased in ..."Rock of Life."This collection includes the title track, a song he wrote about the birth of his first son, Liam, which plunged him into a serious depression. Rick Springfield proved here on thisalbum that he is without a doubt, a musical genius, a power pop superstar who will always rule the music industry.Songs like "Honeymoon in Beirut" and "Woman" will leave your soul aching for more. The title track,... "Rock of Life" and "One Reason" and "Soul to Soul" willmake other singer/songer writer blush with jealousy. "ROCK OF LIFE" is a masterpiece. Rick Springfield is God.
