    Robert Goulet's Wonderful World of Christmas is now available on CD. Identical to the 1970s LP, 12 Christmas songs are included. Standout tracks include "The Little Drummer Boy," "Do You Hear What I Hear?," and "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen." Of note is the song "Christmas Day" from the Burt Bacharach/Hal David musical +Promises Promises, which won four Grammies in 1969. (The original score for the musical includes Law and Order's Jerry Orbach as a singer.) A good, kitschy holiday album, doubly recommended for its traditional songs, and also for its rarities.

Robert Goulet

His face was more famous than his voice, but Robert Goulet recorded a string of popular albums for Columbia during the 1960s, striking the pop charts with several hits and earning a 1962 Grammy Award.
