Robert Arthur
American screenwriter and producer Robert Arthur, born Robert A. Feder, began writing scripts in 1937 working for MGM. Prior to that he had attended USC and then worked in the oil industry. Ten years after joining MGM, Arthur moved to Universal where he became a line producer for some of Universal's most popular comedies, including the Abbott and Costello and Francis the talking mule series of films.
