Cons: EVERYTHING ELSE.
Rios are so annoying. They run on a triple A battery. Which can be a pain if you dont have any AAAs.
Also, the programs are very hard to get running and use.

Pros: Very small, light weight, quick down loads
Cons: Limited FM radio reception
Purchased a factory serviced S30S for $46 with all original accessaries (USB cable, arm band, belt clip, ear phones, Rio & RealOne Player software). The player and all accessaries looked like new. Loading the software with Windows XP was a snap. The internal 64MB of memory holds about 1 hour of MP3 music. Downloading MP3's to the player is very quick with Rio's software. The supplied ear phones stay put during work outs and sound quality is about average. It can get louder than I can stand, so volume (power) is not a problem.
The Player is loaded with features such as an FM radio, equalizer, play lists, battery settings, battery level, LCD screen settings, stop watch, date & time etc... The FM radio works, but reception is limited. Battery life has been about 14 hours using a rechargable NiMH AAA. The unit also accepts memory cards, and mine had no problem with the 256MB SD card from my digital camera. It plays seemlessly from music on the internal memory to the music on the memory card. Just be sure to format the card using Rio's software before trying to download music on it.

I got this Rio for Christmas and havent had any problems since! I can use different memory cards to make my list shrink or grow. The istulation was simple and I use it every day!

I am training for a marathon and run about 45-55 miles a week and also do interval training on the track which requires a stopwatch. The MP3 does it all for me. It keeps me going with the 65+ songs on it (I upgraded with 256 flash card) and allows me to time myself using the stopwatch.

I'm a soldier and lead a very active life. Because I'm deployed right now, I needed a durable, straightforward MP3 player to run with. For my needs, this player is perfect. It's easy to navigate, easy to use, and easy to adjust during mid-exercise. For someone with an active lifestyle, I highly recommend this product.

I love this little MP3 player, got this last x-mas. I run about 30 miles a week and my player will go for about 1 week on one rechargable alkaline AAA battery!
I love the big circular navigation button on the front, it's easy to jump forward or backward in the list without looking at it during a run. Easy to feel.
The software is pretty good too, just tell it where to find your MP3's and it puts them all in a list for you. Select which songs you want and then upload to the player. Create playlists, sort by genre, artist, album, ect... Can't beat it for the price.Was this review helpful? Yes - NoTHE BEST YET

This is one of the best Mp3 players yet, it has many options, including an FM tuner, the memory can be upgraded from 64mb to 576mb. it is a truly amazing electronic.

A brilliant little mp3 player.
Its so light and is sturdy.
Its a pity there is ony 64mb internal memory but for a little bit more u can buy a extra flash card to put in.
The sound quality is excellent with a top quality radio tuner and excellent bass and treble.
I would highly recommend this mp3 player to any1 who does sports and likes to listen to music while they train or run.

i have this for about 2 weeks then started to malfunction. when i was trying to download my music, it froze. i returned it and will never get another one again. the features are ok but after a couple weeks your mp3 player will begin to freeze up and you cannot get it to work again.

Purchased a Rio player and it started to malfunction. It is still in warranty, I tried every way to have Rio fix it. I tried to get a return authorization. They do not respond via web site, email or phone. It is still broken and useless waste of money. I will never buy a Rio again.
