    Pros: Compact, the right size

    Cons: Didn't last 6 months

    I purchased the Nitrus because of its compact form, and the size of the hard drive. 256Mb is too small and 40Gb is too much. The Nitrus' 1.5Gb was just the right size. However, it started to fault out when loading songs after ~4 months. I corr...esponded the the Rio customer service (no help what-so-ever). I just put up with it. It became more of a problem, faulting out during loading. Eventually, it wouldn't even boot. Customer service at Rio said that they could fix it for $125, much more than half the original cost. I do not recommend the Rio Nitrus because of the quality issues. I do not recommend Rio products due to the very poor customer service. Read more Less

    Pros: Small...compact...easy to use.

    Cons: None yet.

    I had other MP3 players before. This one I like the best. It is small and fits into your shirt or pants without causing any grief. It is very simple to use. The software that is included is straight forward and works without any problems. And the am...ount of songs it holds for the price (169.99) I feel that it is a great deal! And if your into downloading legal songs..that are DRM protected...well this player will do it. So if all you want is a player that will hold hundreds of songs...and you don't care about a built in radio (which usually doesn't work very well anyway) then I would recommend the Nitrus!!
