Pros: FM radio Great Software
Cons: Audio Level
This thing droppped 100 times!
No problems, but you have to admit built in FM radio, SD card means UNLIMITED sounds. Online there is rio alternative a BETTER and FREE interface...and for the price.
Dont believe the hype.
Yes, IPOD is louder, but guess what I do not need the extra 250 because I like to THROW my money away.
RIO was there in the start with MP3 players. Back in like 1998 I had a rio diamond.
Pros: LIGHTweight!!! good sound quality, STURDY!!! Low profile
Cons: none worth mentioning( i.e., doesn't cook or clean my house)
I am a recent convert from the clan who still carries around a cd player, so my wonder and amazement at this device is from that perspective. My RIO, however is everything I could want in portable music. I got my RIO secondhand, so the headphones I bought were not the ones that came with it (?). I got the KOSS earplug-style buds that shape to the inside of your ear. the combo of a sturdy lightweight device coupled with very powerful, very small headphones is ideal to me, because I can walk around/excercise/ride the bus etc... with my music playing like a soundtrack to my life, and I'm not attatched to a clunky piece of equipment. I forget I'm wearing it, and I can carry it around, "just in case" without it being a burden. I echo the sentiments of someone looking for more space, however. I have a 256MB expansion card, but a 2G card would be ideal. I don't know about realistic, but that's what I want, anyways.
Pros: works in any temp
Cons: none
Works great in Iraq and extreme heat ,I give this a thumbs up.
Pros: Great price
Cons: Little buttons, not the easiest to use
I love mine, I use it for MP3's and FM radio. It plays great for the price and I'm really happy with it. Sound is very clear.I would prefer a better user interface. Often I have to press the buttons more than once to get it to "take". I would like more accessories.
Pros: Just enough space for my current songs.
Cons: Extra memory card costs 50 bucks!!!
This mp3 player rules! It has 256mb for about 50 songs. And the color reminds me of the video game Halo! for 50 bucks this offer is too good to pass p
Pros: EVERYTHING
Cons: nothin really
LOVE the features that are on this MP3 player.....I take it EVERYWHERE with me. I can listen to it in the car when someone plays a song i dont like, I can listen to it on the bus to school...everywhere..the FM radio comes in handy too...great reception standing still..and in a car..not on buses..I always keep a little memory free on mine. GREAT buy..makes a perfect gift for any music freak! Battery life is LONG if you use it sparingly. Amazing what an AAA battery can do for this MP3 player....especially since its got a backlight. Right now I hold 131 tracks of music. Excellent to be able to have an expandable memory card built in. This MP3 player is PERFECT for long trips.
Pros: no breakdowns or problems/great 'holster'
Cons: headphones and prices drop in this market so fast that you may feel like you overspent
I love this player and the expandability of it keeps me from regretting my purchase as I see 'huge capacity'(5 Gig) players now at the same price point as I spent on my 256Mb Rio plus a 512Mb chip only 5 months ago. I do hope that they are able to compress storage further so that 2-3 Gig SD memory cards can be used with the Rio Cali in the future. I have seen 1 Gig cards available so maybe they are already on their way. The software is very user friendly as well. I didn't like the headphones as they would NOT stay in my ears and the ear 'clips' or whatever they are were useless and uncomfortable. I replaced the headphones and expect to use this player for a long time to come. I gave everything top marks aside from 'support' which I have not required as yet so I felt it was not applicable and 'value' due to the prices of larger capacity players being less dollars per unit of memory.
Pros: Very good
Cons: N/A
great MP3 player. i love this thing its way better then most MP3 players
