Pros: Body color, grip, sound, color, lens, macro, weight, ease of use

Cons: low light, grip can peel off, zoom

I love this camera. It is a fixed lens camera, but produces pictures that are wonderful. 90% of my Flickr shots are with this camera. The look of the camera makes it easy to take street shots without attracting attention. It has a fast shooting speed... when in JPEG (recording after a RAW shot takes about 5 sec). I use Manual focus only and love the way it adjusts in the screen so you see what is happening. I don't know if big SLRs do this. For a beginner like me, this is very intuitive and helpful. Overall, though I may one day get a big ole SLR, for now I have a life ahead of me to take pics with this trusty Ricoh GR Digital. If they come out with a new version based on this platform, you can be sure I would buy it, too, in a flash. Read more Less
