This is the show he was talking about. Pryor took those cutesy Bill Cosby stories and breathed life into them and gave them teeth.
In this show, Pryor rejects the stand-there-and-tell-jokes method that every comedian used up until then and pulls you into his world. ...
He does impressions of a deer, a tire losing air, his very profane father at his mother's funeral and even a police dog chasing a white guy.

I'd go back inside to rescue. Richard Pryor opened the doors for straight-talking like nobody since Lenny. If you have to ask "Lenny who?" this may not be the video for you.
