Rich Kids on LSD
Part of the burgeoning 1980s California punk scene, RKL (Rich Kids on LSD) came out of Santa Barbara in 1985 with Keep Laughing, a record demonstrating the band's sarcastic takes on the problems of society and human nature. Led by guitarist Chris Rest, the band recorded an album two years later, then made a comeback on Cal-punk label Epitaph in 1993 with Reactivate, followed by Riches to Rags in 1995, plus a retrospective on Mystic.
