The Chicago, ILbased Rhymefest first gained national attention as the cosongwriter of Kanye West's Grammywinning "Jesus Walks." His association with West actually went back several years prior to that; the MC's independentlyreleased Raw Dawg, issued in 2001, was produced entirely by a prefame West.
