The most amazing CD's you have ever heard. Comic timing is spot on and pitch perfect. This guy is amazing. He can put thoughts into your head that make you think, what the?? LOVE IT. Complete genius!

WOW. Dane Cook is AMAZING. He's so freaking hot and so awesomely funny! I usually don't like stand-up comedy but he is AMAZING!! Yeah. You DEFNITELY need to get this cd. AND get his new cd RETALIATION.

Dane throws tons of different stories, puns, and side bars and has you laughing the entire CD. Both of them are just incredibly funny.

Dane Cook's first CD, "Harmful When Swallowed" provided WAY too much funny content to possibly get through. His follow-up CD is just as funny.
"Retaliation" is even harder to review in a brief synopsis because it is a 2 CD/DVD collection-- there is so much much to discuss that it is hard to know where to begin.
Dane's observations on basic day-to-day life is so dead on and accurate that it's hysterical. His quirky, energized personality in his performance never slows down. He has a way of wording and seeing things in a way that no one else could possible articulate the way he does. His uniqueness in his performance is glaringly different from any other comedian out there.
It would be beneficial to listen to "Harmful When Swallowed" previous to listening to the new release, as Dane makes references to jokes from the first CD at different points on "Retaliation."
I highly recommend listening to this CD with someone else-- iWas this review helpful? Yes - No
