Pros: Nothing much that isnt offered by the competition

Cons: Absolutley horrid quality

I have had my replay tv i guess close to 5 months. and I am already on my third unit and it has problems so I have to send it back. The problems have all been different, but ultimately end up in complete power failure or like my current problem. The only way to turn it on and off is by unplugging it from the wall and waiting for it to reboot. It doesnt recognize the remote anymore. At first it did, but now it won't(yes i have checked the batteries, it operates the tv fine).

Although customer support is courteous, replay tv must be out sourcing to the middle east because I have never once spoken to anyone that speaks decent english. It makes it an antagonizing process. Anyway buyer beware, its not a fluke I will be on my fourth machine in a couple weeks, its a manufacturing problem.

I have never seen or used it, but my friend has a Tivo and they say it works fine and she likes it. If my replay breaks again, I am going to smash it and get a tivo, but I really think the cable companies are going to offer it soon as part of their cable box.
