Renee Olstead, A Great Intro
Pros: Classic songs, well delivered.
Cons: She doesn't have any other albums to buy.
I had no idea who Renee Olstead was. But when I heard this album I went looking for more info about her online. I found that there was a 14 year old actress by that name but thought it couldn't be the same person. Not many 14 year olds could deliver such a mature performance. Not many actors can sing so well. Of course, I was wrong about her, she is the same person. I've never seen her acting but she is a talented singer. This is a remarkable album, with several outstanding cuts. Her youth peeks through from time to time, sometimes in a good way and sometimes (and only for a brief moment) just as immaturity.
