A JRock group whose name meant nothing other than a series of syllables representing things that the band's members liked, Remioromen got its start in December of 2000. Maeda Keisuke, Jinguji Osamu, and Fujimaki Ryota were all friends at school in Yamanashi, Japan who decided to form a band. After working out the intricacies of their name, the band released their first minialbum in March of 2003.
