Roots & Influences
The southern hip-hop duo called Rehab is literally a product of their namesake. Danny Boone and Brooks, both recovering alcoholics and drug addicts, met at a local rehab facility and connected over their love of music. Songwriting is also their cathartic way of dealing with personal criticism and social conformists. Rehab released their debut Southern Discomfort on Epic/Destiny Music in fall 2000.
