The son of a traveling Pentecostal minister, singer/songwriter Regie Hamm began playing music as the drummer in his father's backing band. Finding he could no longer deal with life on the road, Hamm left home to study music at a junior college in Cleveland, TN. After leaving college, his songwriting endeavors began to pay off and the following years would see his music being recorded by the likes of Kenny Loggins, Bob Carlisle, Maxi Priest, and Jaci Velasquez.
