A surprising masterpiece
Warren Beatty's Reds is a superbly crafted film. The story-telling, actings, editing and most importantly Storraro's cinematography are just brilliant. This is a must see for any real cinema fan.

No shortcuts here, outstanding script, beautiful cinematography, excellent performances by all involved (especially all the supporting characters). I really enjoyed the use of the actual witnesses to expand on the understanding of the two protagonists. The movie tried to capture the era and surrounding people's attitudes. A real gem.
