I THINK THAT THIS MOVIE, TOTALLY SUCKED.IT WAS SLOW,THE OTHER GUY WAS DOING ALL THE KILLING INSTEAD OF HANNIBAL I CALL HIM.. SO I DID NOT LIKE IT I THINK TO ME IT WAS A WASTE OF MONEY.. THEY COULD HAVE KEPT THIS ONE..

this movie looked very good and was a great story line. i was expecting more out of it though honestly. fan of the hannibal storyline, was expecting they would do soemthing differently instead of copying manhunter almost perfectly, just with bigger names and better shot do to the year.
if you have not seen manhunter imagine it would be a great movie. not as much gore in this compaired to others in the series. if you saw manhunter all it would be like is that you watched the movie again after years of not seeing it to recall everything the same just a different lookWas this review helpful? The movie Red Dragon is good for those who like mysteries. This movie is more like Silience Of The Lambs rather than Hannibal. This movie is not for pepole with weak stomachs. I believe to understand this movie that you should have ome type of imagination or it makes little to no since to the person watching it.

my love affair with Dr. Lecter may cause me to be bais, but what are you going to do about it? the movie, of course, was incredible, though i was disappointed with the special features.

As a big fan of Ed Norton, this filled the bill for me. A much better story and film than Manhunter. You will not be disappointed!

While in its day, "Manhunter" was an excellent movie, "Red Dragon" offers so much more. It's a must see and watch it til the end. There is a twist that was not in "Manhunter"!!

This movie? What were the producers thinking when they cam up with it? Were they drunk? Anybody who hasn;t seen this movie; a piece of advice: DON'T! Well when the killed all those guys well that was dumb, you knew it was coming!

I would have to say that Red Dragon is barnone the best of the Hannibal Lecter series. But dont be fooled, Red Dragon isnt about Hannibal Lecter, in fact hes only 10-15 minutes of the movie, although a critical character. Fiennes and Norton do an absolutely amazing job in portraying their respective characters and draw you into the film. My only discrepancy with the film is the total character development of The Red Dragon. I read the book way before I knew the movie was in conception and loved it. When moved to the big screen, more than likely for time constraints, they werent able to take the full amount of time needed to understand his psychosis. But still a great film nonetheless.

I saw this film at the cinema when it first came out. I thought it was much better than Hannibal and has a few moments which make you jump!

Red Dragon restores the faith of a Scilence of the Lambs fan. Rather than throwing the gore out in your face, this movie returns to the Silence success of using a pyschological triller format.
Edward Norton is terrific as FBI Agent Graham. Very believable.
Of Course Anthony Hopkins shines once more as Dr. Lecter.

Red Dragon, just as 1&2 were, was an excellent
piece of entertainment. Ratner does a great job with bringing back the old Hannibal
atmosphere, which is always needed in Hannibal
Lector movie. The suspense and story line will
keep you thinking. Although not as gory as

Red Dragon is a good movie. these movies, The Silence of the Lambs, Hannibal & now Red Dragon are all worthy of 5 stars. But out of the trilogy Hannibal is the stand out. Red Dragon is very entertaining and the ending was great, I mean the part where Chilton is telling Hannibal there is a female to interview him. It gave me a good laugh when Hannibal asked what her name was! A good movie
