Fine album
This CD deserves much more than the one star Thomas gave it. I can only imagine he thought one star was the best. To the fellow who hasn't heard Emmylou before, she was a guest on alot of rock albums in the 60s and 70s, plus has done about 30 of her own.

I heard Emmylou sing the title cut of this album on the Grand Ole Opry Live! I live in North Alabama and I know where this "red dirt" girl lived. The descriptiveness of this song is terrific. I love it!!

Dear Girl, You never cease to amaze me. Your voice is very very incredible., You & Neil Young Aremy to favorite Artists. And the to of you have helped me in having a pleasure in my life that cannot me measured, only to say that I surely don't know how I could have made it without you folks in my life. Do you think sometime you could record 2 songs = Sixteenth Avenue & The Unsatisfied, both songs were done by Lacy J Dalton.. If so I have her phone number if ya need it. If you can't I understand, cause I'm sure there is a part of you Artists that don't let yourselves do certain things. Lacy is another one of my favorites too.. But still you have my first vote, your voice is so sweet & the control of your voice seems to be a natural for you, only to say it cause thats the way you sound... sincerely,Thomas thomaswaynebarnhart49er@y

A spectacular album throughout. Most cuts combine great lyrics with Emmylou's stunning voice. You have to hear this album.

EMMYLOU HAS FINALY COME INTO HER OWN AS A SONGWRITTER. THE TITLE SONG IS ESPECIALY NOTABLE. IT REMINDS ME OF A JOHN PRINE STYLE STORYSONG.

Emmylou is awesome. She has a timeless voice that compares to no one elses. One of the best cd's I've bought all year!!! :o)
