The hardcore band Red Aunts formed in 1991; although the group -- comprised of vocalists/guitarists Kerry Davis and Terri Wahl, bassist Debi Martini and drummer Lesley Ishino -- could barely play their instruments during their first few performances, they soon became a popular West Coast attraction.
