Pros: Taj Mahal at his best
Cons: Not released on CD!?
Who can beat Texas Women Blues song with the Pointer Sisters? A great version of Corrina I have'nt found anywhere else. Sweet Home Chicago is very sweeet. Calkwalk into town is not the live version you usually hear and is my favorite. I have never not owned this album and am sorry it was never re-released as a CD. If you are a Taj Mahal fan you will rediscover Taj with this album. The Pointer Sisters backing vocals are superb and I believe they recorded this before they became famous so it is not pop in nature, but real blues...
