    A great piece of anime

    Record of the Lodoss War is a great piece of anime. If you are a Dungeons and Dragons fan this is a must see. It was actually created based on the creator's gaming sessions. The music is well placed and always accents the mood. The animation ...is good, but there are a few signs that the film is aging in the digital transfer. I wouldn't worry about it too much since it is usually only noticable by the picky film critics/zealots. The content of this work is were it shows its beauty. The charaters are very realistic and draw you in. The plot is interesting but not so far out there that it leaves you with questions as some anime does. Read more Less

    This series is wonderfully awesome, but it will not ruin any anime you watch after it, because Escaflowne is the greatest anime of all time! I just thought i would add that ^_^
