Synopsis: Rear Window (1954)

Synopis: A magazine photographer, housebound on account of a broken leg, becomes voyeur to the apartment building facing his rear window for lack of anything to do. Soon, he draws his visiting girlfriend in on the thrill and eventually they witness a murder in progress that gets them into hot water.

Doyle (Corey) confronts Jeffries (Stewart) about his theory speaks volumes. Hitchcock conveys everything necessary with no dialogue. Casting Raymond Burr as the evil Lars Thorwald was a stroke of genius as well. The suspense is palpable and the climax includes some innovative camera work. This is Alfred Hitchcock's masterpiece! ...
