    Pros: fun

    Cons: dont last long (use)

I have been skateboarding for 4 years now,i have seen these/tried ripsticks,i am all for the fun in it and its ability to be learned very easily,,i would suggest buying your kids a skateboard because it can become a lot more enjoyable after a while a... teach you that practice does make perfect. In no way am i trying to knock down the ripstick, but after a month of riding a ripstick they will eventually quit. I gat a cryphonics skateboard from oshmins when i was 7, put it in the closet for a couple years. Saw my sisters friend skateboarding and retried and got my first real skatboard from a skateshop and havent quit since. I cannot describe the feeling that sweeps over a kid who just landed a trick they have been trying for days. It has changed my life in such a huge way that i cant immagine what i would do without it. If your kids are around 10 or 11 i would try to see if they are interested. there is not much to learn on a ripstik, in skatebording there is so much to learn and experience. these last 4 years have been the best ones of my life. Pros: Fun to ride- Neighborhood is hooked

    Cons: none

I bought my son (9 years old) one last year, was riding like a pro in a day. The whole neighborhood is full of them now. The kids play flag football on them- absolutley amazing to watch!
