Ray Wise: Biography

American character actor Ray Wise is one of the mainstays of TV's prime time serials. Wise has been seen as Blair Sullivan in Dallas (the 1982 season), Spiros Moralis in The Colbys (1986), and the Dealer in Knot's Landing (1988). He was still at it in 1996 as Edward Burton in the Warner Bros. network soaper Savannah (1996). Wise's other roles include Mike Todd in Liz: The Elizabeth Taylor Story (1995). In 1990, Ray Wise briefly attracted a cult following in the role of Leland Palmer (aka Killer BOB), the "possessed" murderer of Laura Palmer, on David Lynch's bizarre series Twin Peaks.
