Excellent Bio Of The Life of Ray Charles
Pros: Jamie Foxx's Best Work.
Cons: Nothing Negative To Say.
I saw a sneak preview of Ray when I watched a scene from the movie on the NAACP Image Awards on tv. I was impressed with Jamie Foxx in that scene. When I watched the film with my sister, I knew that it was going to be a classic.
The film is based on the book Brother Ray which is about Charles' life. I was also impressed with the performances of Regina King, Kerry Washington, Curtis Armstrong who played the late Ahmet Ertegun who discovered Charles and a lifelong friend.
The music is awesome and the performances. This film came out following the death of Charles and a tribute to him. If anyone thinks that the film doesn't deserve the hype and accolates, see it for yourself.

Starting Off Ray was he's mothers little helper he loved his family alot and always done what he's mother told him to. Ray became blind when he was at a small age. And as he grew older he met friends that he trusted but then he became a drug addict.and Ray would have flash backs of his little brother drowning, And then he met this younglady fell inlove with her and they got married had children.He made lots of hit records in the studio these are some of the songs that I remember. Gorgia,Hit The Road Jack,Take Me Back To Arkansas,You Make Me Feel So Good.I believe.

I love Ray. Its a awesome movie. Its a eye catcher. Very dramatic, great everything. I will tell anybody in a heart beat to go see or even buy it.

Wonderfull movie, Jamie Foxx was excellent. The depth it gets in all aspects on his journey to the top with his crouth of his blindness is remarkable and his drug recovery. The scores are great really getting into his music and concerts, bands assoc. and the whole sha-bang. All my thumbs. Gets in the Jazz feeling.

Ray is my new favorite movie. Everything that was done was done superb. Anyone who has even a remote liking of jazz to the most radical jazz enthusiast needs to see this movie. I being a jazz player and lover give this movie a 100 out of 5.

Jamie Foxx does an amazing job of transforming into Ray Charles for this film. From start to finish he captures the life, spirit, and determenation of Ray Charles. Never before has an actor made such an incredible depection of a human being. The casting and directing of this film was the result of a careful selection process and highly talented actors and actresses.
