Taking their inspiration from punk's willingness to shock and transgress social taboos in its subject matter, the London quartet Raped took the low road, issuing an EP in 1977 called Pretty Paedophiles, which featured their theme song, "Raped." Doing an about-face, the lineup of Sean Purcell (vocals), Faebhean Kwest (guitar), Tony Baggett (bass), and Paddy Phield (drums) changed its name to the Cuddly Toys and began playing Bowie-influenced glam rock.
