Randy Meisner
Meisner is probably best known as the bassist of The Eagles. His career began in the early '60s with obscure bands such as The Dynamics and the Poor. He became a founding member of the country-rock band Poco, but disagreements led him to leave for Rick Nelson's Stone Canyon Band. In 1971, he joined the Linda Ronstadt backing band which eventually became The Eagles, leaving in 1977 to pursue a solo career. He had several Top 40 singles before taking some time off.
