The son of a local traditional musician, Spanish contemporary flamenco guitarist Raimundo Amador started playing live in Sevilla's streets under the name of Sargento Platillo at the age of 13. Soon, he began participating in a project called Los Gitanillos, forming Veneno in 1977, who recorded a self-titled album that was released by CBS.
