Attractive biracial actress Rachel True has been working regularly, although not prominently, for much of the 1990s and into the new millennium. The New York City native longed to be an actress from her youngest years, watching the performances of her stepmother, renowned stage actress Verona Barnes. True's own first break came when she was cast for several episodes of The Cosby Show in 1991, as a friend of Theo's.
