Users found this Rabbit-Proof Fence review helpful This is an incredibly well done movie that manages to inspire and enlighten people of the true life story of three girls. Rabbit-Proof Fence is an authentic movie of the Aboriginals of Australia and still proves to be relevent for everyone. I highly recommend this movie for its originality and raw emotions. ... -
Could have been a great movie
, April 16, 2003Reviewer: Lick - See all Lick's reviews0 of 6 Yahoo! Users found this Rabbit-Proof Fence review helpful I thought this movie had much potential but thought that it was grossly miscast. I found that the 3 aborigine girls should have been whites from a working class Syndey neighborhood. The story would have been so much more cohesive if they were forced into child prostition and escaped into the outback of Austrilia. Instead of a rabbit proof fence which as it turns out was made up, it never was...should have been an electrified fence where the girls would constantly keep running into.
There search for redemption really was never met in this movie. Writing was novice to say the least and a big disappointment. Though I strongly recommend the movie. ...
