RCA WHP150 Wirless Phones

Cons: Plastic head cushion will peel.
The best they make and have been discontinued. The range is far better than stated. This is the cream of the crop. Even the newer RCA brands can not compete with the WHP150. I own 10 pair and that's for backup, but so far the two pair in use are 16 years old and still kicking. Nothing better on the market, believe me. To avoid that 10 second no sound, increase the volume on the system then turn down the volume on the headset. You can do this with the DVR and your suround sound system, but not directly to a TV headphone input jack. ebay is my source for buying this item and when they come up for bid, you will probabaly find me there. Good luck! I bid high and hard for them.

These headphones are a good buy for the price. They are rather large, and would like to see similar products in bluetooth. However, that being said, I had no problem setting them up or aquiring a signal.
I have read some reviews where people cannot get them to tune the freq properly. Since these are based on a radio freq, it is important to understand placing these by a speaker, monitor, or T.V. could very easily cause some issues. Also read one review where people said there was a fuzzy signal...maybe the same as the aforementioned problem, or they were not tuned into the freq very well.
I plugged these in to my computer, and the wall outlet...adjusted the freq, and had great sound. Walked all the way into my kitchen, which is on the other side of the house with out loosing a bit of sound quality.Was this review helpful? Yes - No
