DVD Drive Problems

Pros: Speakers Sound Great

Cons: DVD Drive ships broken

After ordering this system and being excited to finally have my home theater system when it arrived I was excited to try it out. Upon getting the speakers and everything hooked up and set up, I tried turning the system on. I immediately was shocked to hear a terrible grinding and groaning sound coming out of the DVD drive and soon found out that the product they had shipped me was defective. I called customer support after attempting to find the problem of why the DVD drive was apparently jammed and I didn't even have to go through a troubleshooting session. Apparently they have been having a lot of these problems because she immediately told me that I needed to send the product in and that I would have to pay for the shipping. This is very frustrating to receive a brand new product that is shipped defective and then have to pay to send it in just so hopefully you can get one that works. I highly recommend not choosing this product because of the company’s terrible treatment of its customers and low testing of its products.
