home theater was hardly use and stopped working all of a sudden have not been able to use and enjoy system my purchased date was 10-27-06 but overall it was not used enough.

Got this as a gift. I have a tremendous Panasonic system in my livingroom and decided to use this system in my bedroom.
I still cannot get the subwoofer to work.
Poor sound quality, and I find it difficult to believe this has 720 watts.
My computer speakers have better sound quality than this system has.

Pros: Inexpensive, easy set up, looks good, has inputs for my Plasma, DVD.
Cons: Has lots of inputs, but not like some receivers where you have about 50 jacks on the back.
I recently purchased a plasma tv and was looking for a cost effective surround sound system. I got mine at Walmart for $149. It only has 720 watts, but unless you are wathching all your tv or movies cranked all the way up, you will never know it. I was looking to hook up a DVD, TV and my TiVo. My DVD is running the digital coaxial cable to the receiver (included in box) and I am running audio out from the TV into the receivers TV input. If I play PS2, its gets plugged into the tv RCAs on the front and the sound goes through the TVs audio out through the surround sound. It sounds good, looks good and didn't break the bank. When you get all the speakers set up and mounted, use the manual to adjust the speakers so it sounds good. I like the rear sound louder, so I jacked mine up. Good luck!
