Pros: video recording, picture viewing

Cons: no support cant play while lokking for another song

i got it as a birthday gift and loved it at first, then the problems started. you cant search for a song when playing a song, playlist must be made on the computer, and you must "profile" the device before you cant use it. the video recording is nice though, and the picture are too. it takes about 30 second to fully start up and is very slow. the buttons breack too. i returned it after i got a message saying the system files are corupt. the player froze my pc and i couldnt do anything. i will now get the creative labs zen touch for a little more money but it was worth it. my suggestion, dont buy the rca rd2780.

Pros: Everything

Cons: Copyrighted Movies

People said in reviews that the buttons fall off and it constantly freezes, and all of these bad things about it. I have had this device since X-Mas, and i havent run into a problem with it yet. I record movies to it (You have to trick it into believing its TV, its smart and it knows copyrighted movies somehow and refuses to record) and watch them on trips, and have all my mp3s stored on it. When I want to watch one of the movies stored on it, it transfers to project the movie on any TV with the RCA cords. I also use it as a mini hard drive for moving files from computer to computer with its strong 20GB hard drive. I think when people say that the contols are bad that its hard to control the joystick, but you get used to it fast. Theres also consistant updates on the web that keep your device up to date. So overall I think that this is great and would highly recomend it.

Pros: Lots of Space

Cons: The quality it works at

They give you all this space for your music, videos, photos and everything but once you get your music on there, unless it's around 20 songs, it decides what it feels like playing. We have only put music on this product also. It will play some songs one day but not the same song the next day at all. It freezes up at random times to the point where you can't get it to do anything at all. We were really excited about getting it at first but now with the way it has been preforming we are highly disappointed with it especially with the amount of money that was paid for it($400).

Pros: lots of abilities and incredible quality video clips

Cons: controls not in the best places for easy operation of player

I purchased my lyra av jukebox 6 months ago and it has treated me very well. I like to record tv shows and movies from the tv to watch while I travel. I fly alot so this comes in very handy. I only wish it supported more types of video like divx. I have only been able to get it to support its own videos which I believe are .avi and the video clips from my digital camera. But nonetheless it is worth the money and they are constantly upgrading the firmware so who knows, they may make it compatible soon.
