Awesome and Inexpensive DAP!
Pros: Extremely portable, good looking, great sound
Cons: Battery life could be better, lack of accessories
I purchased my RCA Lyra RD-2763FM 5GB Micro Jukebox on Amazon.com (for less than $50). It has a five gigabyte micro-hard drive, is metallic blue, and comes with a free FM transmitter for your car.
The transmitter plugs directly into your cigarette lighter adapter (no batteries!) and has a retractable cable that plugs into the Lyra's headphone jack. The transmitter actually works well, at least in my car, and eight stations for reception.
The Lyra itself works very well, has great sound, and after switching file transfer protocols from MTP to MSC, I just drag and drop directories of songs right onto the player. Battery life is pretty good, around 8 hours, which beats my old RD-2762A (less than 6).
I'm using JVC Gumy Berry Blue headphones and carry the player in a small Case Logic Pocket case.
Best of all, I found an RCA MP3 Starter Kit at Wal-Mart on clearance for $3! It contained three silicone cases for the Lyra, plus an extra wall charger. My Lyra is currently garbed in the blue case to
match the rest of my accessories.
For those that love Lyras, I'd highly recommend it. Amazon.com was selling these for $39.99, but have since made them unavailable (possibly due to selling out of them).Was this review helpful? Yes - NoDear friends

Pros: Portability
Cons: Uncomfortable Earbuds, No accessories available
I received this for christmas. The battery life seemed to last 3-4 hrs. Was very user friendly. Until the file system started to be corrupted for some strange reason. No tech help. RCA was rude and unhelpful. Glad this one was free! Will never purchase an RCA product.

My Husband bought this for me for Christmas. The recharge only lasts 2-3 hours. The files get corrupted in a day or two. It came back for 3 days, quit and didn't start again.
rca was no help. Their people were rude and useless. We wanted a refund. They refused.
You can't even send them an e-mail because they set it up to send you around in circles if you pick the lyra as the reason for the contact.
Don't even consider an rca (small letters on purpose) product without reading reviews on sites like Amazon and others.
We will never deal with rca again.

Good Solid OS to accompany a very high def audio quality. Light, Compact and Very Easy to use. Has One step joystick/button for easy browsing, and the screen is easily readable. A good deal all around,
