DOWN LOW DOUBLE LIFE, ONE MAN, DON'T PUT ME OUT, WOMENS FED UP. THOSE ARE JUST 4 OF THE MAIN BEST SONGS ON THIS ALBUM. ALL HIS SONGS ARE GOOD JUST LIKE HIM. BUT HE HIT IT OFF WE THIS 4 MAIN SONGS.

This album had mad songs on it, but they were all good! Especially the first CD. When A Women's Fed Up is the best R Kelly song ever!

sure, this album has some tight cuts, but he could've made one awesome cd and dropped all the whack ass filler to make up a double cd. when did r. become so money oriented? you are a balladeer and party singer. all this money based obsession was nauseating. 5 tracks mention money in the title and a sixth is called "did you ever think that you'd be this rich". this is one of the mediocre tracks, and other ones include: well, actually the ones i like would be a shorter list so let me start with "if i could turn back the hands of time", "half on a baby"**, "get up on a room"**, "when a woman's fed up", "we ride", "looking for love"**and "etcetera"***(yes!). these are the bomb songs. everything else is either ok or whack like "dancing with a rich man" and "v.i.p." from the rather long list of bomb songs and decent songs, you can see that this could've been a classic cd if all the good tracks had been on one cd' and he had left out the whack ones. in fact, this albums nice songs would probably put it in the top 15 cd's of the 90's without the whack stuff, like his third one "r. kelly" was and "12 play" was.

no.no.no. is it possible that a human being made this album? 30 tracks and everything is flaming hot-even the interludes. i have never heard anything like it. it should be recognized as the greatest album ever. r.kelly is a killer. buy it. i don't care if it is your last twenty dollars on the face of the planet. buy it. sell your house.SELL YOUR WIFE. just buy it. i bought it .it was stolen. i'm presently on my way to buy it again. i read somewhere that it was the best r&b album of 1998. what stupidity!! it's the best album(of whatever genre) of the damn millenium. they were meant to dedicate the 1999 grammy award ceremony to this man. i don't know what else to say.

ANYTIME I WENT TO HIS CONCERT ALONE, THEN YOU KNOW THE BROTHER IS BAD. I HAD THE BEST TIME AT THE SHOW ALONE THEN I'VE EVER HAD WITH FRIENDS OR MY MATE. WHEN I LEFT THE CONCERT I COULD HARDLY TALK. JUST TO SEE HIM LIVE MADE ME LOVE HIM AND HIS MUSIC EVEN MORE. R. KELLY IS GIFTED AND HAS BEEN PUT ON THIS EARTH TO INSPIRE PEOPLE OF ALL DIFFERENT RACES, AGES AND WALKS OF LIFE WITH HIS MUSIC. HOPEFULLY HE'S WORKING ON A NEW ALBUM BECAUSE I AM WAITING.

R. Kelly is so incredible his album R. is I don't know what to say, there is no word to say how wonderful and deep this album is!! I love all the songs, I listen to them again, again and again whithout getting tired, Half on a baby, When a woman get fed up, Down low, Reality, Etcetera hoo I love that one, Dollar Bill are my favorites but all are good. I really hope R. Kelly will have all the rewards he deserves as a singer, as a compositor

I wouldn't say it's the best, but I do like a lot of the songs, "Down Low, Double Life" in particular. A song I like to hear and think about sex off of. So go get it people.

This is the absolute best cd R. Kelly has ever written. He is absolutely the most brillant R&B artist in in the business today. The cd is one one hit after another and the cd is has to be the best collection of songs I have ever heard.

r. kelly is the best song writer right now in music. listening to the "R." album you can hear the diversity in his music. from the slow jam "get up on a room" to a thugish ballad like "ghetto queen" all the way to more serious songs like "reality" and "when a woman's fed up" "R." has went 5 times platinum and i wish kelly would get the respect and honor that he truly deserves. this album is great but the self titled album is still his greatest work so far. i am thunder D......feel me

In my opinion R. Kelly is one of the more gifted R&B entertainers of this generation. His variety of songs reflect alot of people's feelings towards love and situations influenced by attraction of beautiful ladies. He discusses his background in some songs which can let us know what to avoid and be cautious of, mainly the people who can let you down and not believe in you. His material is so diversified with rythyms and smooth ballads, and you can easily get the idea that he his a commited entertainer who's important desire is to please the fans of music. I hope he continues to produce and make more history in music. He is my favorite male singer and I think he should be considered a legend and pioneer for future R&B singers.
