This is not a masterpiece
Pros: Fresh new beats, some postive songs, Neptunes songs
Cons: Drop It like it hot overplayed, No Thang On Me, some songs terrible
This album reminds me of some of snoops earlier work with No Limit, it just seems like he doesnt really care to make good music and would rather say the first thing that comes to his head. First of all the beats are a welcome change, the Neptunes give snoop a fresh new sound which fits his style well. There are some good songs on here, for example the very positive intro, ups and downs, lets get blown, perfect, Oh no and pass it pass it. The problem is that these songs are not great and I think if you put them onto a snoops greatest hits disc they would pale in comparison to some of his other work, even with no limit. There are also some awful songs on here like Fresh Pair of Panties (why a song about this), the stoned mumbling of No Thang On me, and the awful threw witchu. These songs are TERRIBLE and should be skipped immediately. The others are decent and some have highlights, but overall I just cant give this CD a better than average rating. And dont lie and tell us this is a masterpiece unless it really is. If you think this is a masterpiece I dont want to know what the next album is going to be like

maan this ablum is good cuz it has a lot of beats in it but it doesnt have any of that hardcore stuff the real rapping i mean this ablum is like a R&B album but if youre really into rap and like all the different beats then you should get it but hink of this ablum as a more relaxing ablum not like snoops other its a lot different

never really seems to catch on as his past albums have. if you are used to catchy beats and the good production of snoop's past hits, i would not recommend it for purchase. maybe next time. snoop might have to call dr.dre back up for his next project. i consider this one a flop...

OK.I was waiting awhile for this CD to drop, bought it, listened and thought I was listening to some old retired, reformed 55 year old wanna-be playa/pimp. What happened to the "Old Snoop"...the Dr. Dre Snoop, hardcore lyrics and tight azz beats Snoop. I dunno, maybe he should stay away from his damn old azz uncle because all that old skool pimpology is rubbing off in a bad way. Of course, the heavy radio play of his song with Farrell is tight and in my opinion fools people like myself(lol) into thinking the whole CD is going to be of the same quality. But it's not. I mean if you want to purchase the CD because you are a die hard Snoop fan, then by all means go ahead, maybe the songs will eventually rug off on you after several days. But for people who are looking for the Snoop that had your head bobbin non stop in your car or had the club be like "that's my song" and had you running back to the dance floor, naw, this ain't it. Enjoy if you must.

I don't need to say a lot about this one. Snoop has really stepped up his game the last two albums, and his collaborations with the Neptunes and others come off victoriously. This one is a player... meaning you can just hit play at the beginnig and let the whole CD play. Indeed, a masterpiece.
