Quest for Camelot Game Boy Color

~Camelot is in dire need of a hero King Arthur's mighty sword ~Excalibur has fallen into enemy hands. Now the evil Sir Ruber has decided to take the magical blade and use it to claim what he believes is rightfully his: ~Camelot itself. Since King Arthur cannot embark on an adventure during these difficult times, he trusts a young girl named Kayley to save his beloved kingdom. This will mean journeying through nine worlds and over sixty areas to find the legendary ~Excalibur and hopefully put an end to Sir Ruber's nefarious plans. Are you up to the task?

In this action role-playing game based on Warner Bros.' 1998 animated movie of the same name, you play the role of Kayley as you combat enemies, solve puzzles, disable traps and converse with various characters to find ~Excalibur and rescue ~Camelot. The game begins with your character trying to find a weapon to use against the vile creatures populating the world. In order to receive this weapon, you'll have to first round up five hens that are scattered throughout the land. Once you successfully find them, you'll receive the sword as a gift to begin your adventure with style. You'll eventually learn to spin attack, dart and perform lunges with your sword to fight the minions of evil.

The different worlds will take you into caves, across forests, up mountains and through many villages. Along the way, Kayley must find various items to help in her quest, such as the compass, slingshot, grappling hook and snorkel. She'll even be able to ride a horse to access areas previously unavailable to her Players can save their progress at any time during the game, but only after finding the required amount of gems (30 for each save). Heart containers can also be found to add to your character's overall health, which is represented by a series of red hearts. In addition, Quest for Camelot is compatible with the ~Game Boy Printer, allowing you to print cinematic scenes from the movie.
