, April 8, 2001Reviewer: qleap_2000 - See all qleap_2000's reviewsAs usual, I was asleep at the wheel during th 80's and missed most of the Thompson Twin's earlier CDs. I fell in love with this CD soon after it came out in '91 and it holds up well with time, assumming you like techno 80's kind of dance music. All cuts are stong, with "Come Inside" the hippest.

| EXPERT RATING: From AMG Reviews With Queer, the Thompson Twins began incorporating current dance trends, particularly the dense, pyschedelic Manchester sound of the Happy Mondays. It is an ambitious effort, but it isn't entirely successful -- the group doesn't work the groove as effectively as the Madchester groups, nor do they come up with a catchy dance-pop tune.
