    I did not expect the type of movie "Queen Margot" turned out to be: exciting, scary, very violent, and romantic, without the slow-moving character studies typical of French films. This movie combines the best qualities of foreign cinema with the pa...ce and attention to detail found in good American films. I really enjoyed this movie. Read more Less

    i think that this movie was a very good one, even though it is not my favorite french movie it does have one of my favorite actors. vincent perez. all the actors did a fabulous job and the storyline was very interesting and never seemed to drag.

    Historically Accurate Thriller

    This is perhaps the single bloodiest movie I have ever seen in my life, and perhaps the only French film that didn't come off as being sluggish and nebulous. If you want to see a foreign film or a historical film, it hasn't a peer, except possibly H...enry V. Of course, there's the obligatory love story thrown in, but even that is fairly tasteful.
