As a teenager, British DJ and producer Quantic, born Will Holland (who is part of Quantic Soul Orchestra and the soulfolkdance duo the Limp Twins) had played guitar in various rock bands, but it was his switch to house and broken beat that sent him successfully into his musical career, especially after his 7" "We Got Soul" came out in 2000.
