Cons: Where? *shrug*
I bought this cd in December of 2003. I'm writing this review in May of 04...I still cannot put this cd down. You can listen to it beside the pool with a cold Corona, relax to it in the bathtub or have dinner to it to set the mood. I love this cd and can't wait for the next Weekend Players release. I've recommended this cd to all of my friends and now they can not put it down. Buy this cd and you will not be disappointed. Best tracks are Higher Ground and Jerico, among others.

Pro Reviews: Pursuit Of Happiness
| EXPERT RATING: From AMG Reviews Groove Armada wizard Andrew Cato finds an appealing match for this project in Rachel Foster, who broadens the disembodied aesthetic of trip-hop vocals with a throaty, suggestive sensuousness. Cato creates a noir ambience; Foster, whose background includes theater performance, projects herself into it with no apparent effort. Her gifts are most evident where the instrumental tracks are simplest, as on "Angel," or in settings fashioned specifically to show her off through subtle vocal processing and arrangement, such as "Into The Sun." Throughout Pursuit Of Happiness Foster comes across as a less strident, more seductive Annie Lennox -- exactly the right complement for Cato's precise technique, sleek pads, and breezy beats. On the standout track, "I'll Be There," he lays a 4/4 melody across an accompaniment drawn from "Electric Counterpoint" by the minimalist composer Steve Reich; the result is a polyrhythmic interplay whose heat animates Foster's cool delivery; from concept to execution, it's a textbook lesson for excellence within this genre. Remixes of "I'll Be There" and "Into The Sun" end the album on a slightly anticlimactic note. - Robert L. Doerschuk, All Music Guide |

Pros: Love all the songs!
Cons: None
This is by far one of the best CD's I've ever purchased. I loved everything about this CD. Rachel Foster and Andy Cato is a wonderful duo. Rachel's mellifluous voice permeates each melody like a sweet kiss. Definitely a must-have for anyone who appreciates great music.
