Could you find a more satisfying and relaxing movie, that you can watch again? The characters are believable and enjoyable. Hey, these actors are real people and make it feel that way when you're watching. there's a nice flow to the movie, and onl...y the hard-hearted will not be choked up at the ending. George Strait is a real guy first, so his singing is not corny. Isabel Glasser hits you like lightning. She's homespun, drop-dead pretty, and easy with a horse. At the end of the movie, all you want to do is be George Strait - how lucky can a guy get? I'll tell you, I could watch Ms. Glasser read the phone book, and listen to George sing accompaniment. The character actors are so true to "Country Folk" you'd want for neighbors - that's the appeal of this movie, it's simple stuff, with great music. Leslie Ann Warren as a sly promoter works very well, but nobody can compare to how you feel about Isabel Glasser at the end. By then she'd been beguiling, stubborn, sweet, sweaty, and perplexed. She's the woman we all wanted to marry! This movie is her forte! Read more Less
